Pokémon: 10 Times Ash risked his life to protect others
In Pokémon, Ash has repeatedly put his life in a situation where he hangs a hair to protect the people he loves.
In his adventures, Ash and his friends have been involved in danger many times throughout the Pokémon series .
10. Protect Pikachu with his body from the Spearow
Right in the first episode of the anime series Pokémon showed the good friendship later between Ash and Pikachu. Ash did not hesitate to use his body to protect Pikachu from the attack of a herd of Spearow. Pikachu then decided to use Thunderbolt to do the same thing as thanking Ash.
9. Almost froze
In the episode “Snow Way Out”, Ash and his companions were trapped in a cave, covered with freezing snow. Despite having Charizard’s tail to keep him warm, Ash put the safety of the Pokémon first, so he made the decision to risk returning to the Pokéball, accepting the cold alone.
Only Pikachu refused and wanted to be outside with Ash. The other Pokémon then decided to come out of the Pokeball as well, not letting Ash suffer the cold alone.
8. Ash risked his life to save the Tree of Life
In the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Ash’s party travels to the Tree of Life. This is the item that has a connection with Mew and is ready to eliminate intruders like Ash’s group.
Ash and his friends are fortunate to be helped by Mew, but this puts the Tree of Life on the brink of destruction. Ash and Lucario work together to save the Tree of Life. However, Lucario decided to sacrifice himself, as the Pokémon was aware that Ash would lose his life if he kept it up.
7. Escape at the temple of the sea
In Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, the villain Phantom stole too many crystals, leading to the risk of causing the temple to completely sink. To prevent that from happening, Ash did not hesitate to put himself in danger to return the crystals to their rightful place. Fortunately, Ash was helped by the stones to get out of the situation of hanging a hair in the water.
6. Almost burned to death
Ash once almost died in a fire incident. It was in the episode “Pokémon Scent-sation”, the Rocket gang detonated a bomb at the Celadon City Gymnasium. All trainers and Pokémon are united to put out this fire. Ash even defied the danger ahead to rush inside, thereby rescuing a Pokémon Gloom.
Fortunately, Ash succeeded and all escaped with Gloom.
5. Almost completely disappeared
In the movie The Rise of Darkrai, the town of Alamos is in danger of being erased from reality, when two legendary Pokémon, Dialga and Palkia, are constantly fighting. To prevent that threat from happening, Ash and his friends decided to go to the Spacetime tower and use the music player to play the song Oración, thereby making Dialga and Palkia stop fighting.
Ash, Dawn, and the townspeople almost disappeared completely, but they worked hard to prevent that from happening and restore the inherent peace.
4. Escape death from Entei
In Spell of the Unown, Ash’s mother Delia was kidnapped by Entei and Unown in order to want her to take care of Molly. So Ash sets out to rescue his mother and confront this powerful Pokémon. However, Entei easily defeated all of Ash’s Pokémon and almost took his life, if not for Molly’s intervention.
3. Some important roles put Ash in so many dangers
In the movie Pokémon: The Movie 2000, Ash became the “Chosen One” for a festival, with the task of collecting three different crystals and bringing them to the temple of Shamouti. This is an exciting, but equally dangerous journey.
The weather turns worse and there’s also the awakening of the legendary Pokémon Lugia. It was from this that pushed Ash into an extremely difficult, even life-threatening challenge.
2. Temporarily turn to stone
Ash was once petrified after attempting to stop the battle between Mew and Mewtwo. He risked his life to interrupt, only to be turned to stone. Despite his best efforts, Pikachu was initially unable to turn Ash back to normal. Mew and Mewtwo, after witnessing tears from Pikachu, stopped fighting and helped Ash return to normal.

In the movie Wish Maker, the villain Butler has an ambition to use Jirachi’s power to awaken Groudon. But unfortunately created a pha-ke version of Groudon. And the level of danger can be shown through the fact that this fake Groudon wants to erase Forina entirely.
Ash and his friends went to great lengths to prevent the disaster from happening, and even almost got their life taken by a fake version of the legendary Pokémon.
